11 Weeks

Yesterday MJ weighed himself and then weighed MA with him and came up with 13 lbs 6 oz! Our little girl is getting so big. She is reaching for things more and sometimes actually gets them now. She smiles so hard and is so close to those giggles, but we haven't heard them yet.

She is still doing awesome in the crib at night. She usually goes in it between 8-9pm and will wake up once throughout the night, then be up for the day around 7am. I really can't complain about that! We are still working on the naps during the day though. She will get pretty cranky after being up for more than 2 hours, but has started fighting her sleep. She sleeps great if we are in the car, or if we are in a restaurant in her car seat... but struggles napping at home. We've tried the swing, the bouncer chair and the crib. The most luck we've had is with the swing but it's usually 20-30 minute cat naps. I truly don't mind her being up during the day, but when she gets cranky - she gets cranky!

We decorated for Christmas this week and MA really loved watching all the decorations go up. I can't wait until she is able to help decorate the tree. She loves just looking at the lights of the tree and listening to our singing Santas.
